Ian Withnall was one of the Field Directors for National Geographic Channel on their new exciting multi platform series “Only In OZ”, produced by Prospero Productions.
The production is an epic adventure based factual series and was initially launched and played through the National Geographic Channel App on Optus.
The stories were assembled into 8 x 1 hour episodes airing on National Geographic Channel Australia and throughout several overseas territories.
Ian and the crew had many truly amazing adventures, from a 1.5 km radio telescope Galaxy Hunting in the ACT, Camel Trekking in the Flinders Ranges SA, Crocodiles in the Top End and even Feral Cats.
Ian worked with presenters Stephanie Bendixsen, Luke Ryan and Tyson Mayr from the harshest deserts, to the cold mountains and the hot tropics, taking audiences on wild ride of discovery around Australia.
The series showcases some of the most remarkable stories Australia has to offer!
